In the marketing department, I was surrounded by talented, motivated colleagues and led by a manager who cared deeply about the professional development of her employees. She listened thoughtfully to our concerns and our ideas, encouraging us and directing us when needed. I was frequently commended for good work when working individually as well as when I worked as a part of a team. The marketing team always seemed to be positive even in the face of challenges, too.
As a marketing intern reporting directly to Angela, I witnessed firsthand Angela’s incredible leadership at Logic Solutions. The way she commands and gives respect is remarkable and something I tried to take note of while I worked with her. She invited me to all important staff meetings, introduced me to everyone within the company, and made me feel like an essential part of the team. She let me tailor my work according to what I was interested in and shared interesting projects with me. Her instructions were clear but still allowed for plenty of creativity and customization. She trusted me to deliver excellent work without having to oversee every step of the process (but still making all the appropriate resources readily available). Overall, it was incredible to work with Angela. She is a natural leader and a savvy marketing director. It’s been a pleasure to learn and contribute under her guidance.
Angela is nothing less than a top notch Director of Marketing. When I first joined Logic in January of 2011, I began working with our Marketing Director, Angela. Having come from 15 years at a digital agency, my standards were very high. Through my tenure at Logic, Angela never stopped creating and refining a great digital identity for the company. She directed the creation and revision of the company’s major and minor brand sites and also created a marketing campaign for a new product launch that included an orchestrated effort of trade shows, social media, and email campaigns. Her work was nothing less than stellar. I was continually amazed at how she balanced the demands of the company and its acquisitions. I hope I have the pleasure of working with Angela again in the future.
Smart and sophisticated, yet utterly fearless, Angela is an invaluable part of the 826michigan leadership team. Time after time, she asks the right questions and applies her marketing and other savvy to our organization’s needs. As our Treasurer, Interim Executive Director and now President, Angela embraces the chance to jump in and work hard to help with our most pressing current needs. She’s unafraid to speak her mind but has deep respect for others’ perspectives. She’s made an indelible impression on our organization and its work; and I would be lost without her.
I still count my manager as a very valuable connection and credit her with giving me my start. Working at Logic helped me to build the confidence and savvy that has carried me long since I moved on.
